hi just a reminder that it *is* essentializing to imply that trans men cannot perpetuate misogyny (e.g. when referring to a group)
There is enough writing by transgender men, especial transMOC, to address these complexities in a way that better frames the issues.

patriarchy as an institution, & esp. in lgbtq spaces, assigning patriarchy to only cis men is disingenuous & potentially transphobic and

often undermines the way esp white trans men can weaponize these view points (something that many in my lgbtq spaces have witnessed)
