Why do you think you were "pulled in," as you say, to "witness" this one-off event with the Women's March ppl & so close to the march day?

As for last-minute. This entire effort is last minute. No conspiracy or surprise that two weeks before event organizers want to spread word

They just wanted to get the word out about the march as would anyone on that timeline. I and others agree with broad aims. Not suspicious.
