You can add location information to your Tweets, such as your city or precise location, from the web and via third-party applications. You always have the option to delete your Tweet location history. Learn more
It is cavalier to tell the press that such an unethical request was made. Had they understood this, they would not mention it.
Yes, I’m quite clear that it would be unethical for social scientists to request the e-mail list, or for M4S to turn it over.
