How is it “cavalier” to say that people have asked them about doing research on and around the March?
It is cavalier to tell the press that such an unethical request was made. Had they understood this, they would not mention it.

Yes, I’m quite clear that it would be unethical for social scientists to request the e-mail list, or for M4S to turn it over.
