In all seriousness I think it's telling and important that sci establishment is showing itself while tech enables bombing of Syria

.The status quo is gonna status quo.

There's wanting to return to the status quo and then there's wanting to creatively find ways to more justly meet the future.

The scientific establishment has made pretty clear that more than anything else they just want the cash and unbridled trust with it.

Accountability to people at the margins -- or anyone really -- is not a priority.

So, good. Let them and their sycophants show themselves so that we can have no illusions anymore.
