I was actually explaining this yesterday to a WM friend who is an MD. He mentioned his WOC mentor was a very tough and formal.
Oh yes "walking the tightrope" as the literature calls it. Damned if you act too friendly ("unprofessional") & if too formal ("cold/mean").
