And I have felt very conflicted, because I didn't want to undermine some of the folks still working internally.

And also, conflicted about undermining the march itself, which I still think is necessary, even if it's let us down so much.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to do more. Some of us felt like any progress came at the expense of our relationship with the team.

I was fine with that until it was clear that anything I did or suggested was viewed as an attack on teammates.

It often felt as if there was not space for constructive feedback. Critics were considered disloyal.

And sometimes, it felt like change was only precipitated by a white man saying the same thing women and POC had said.

So, I feel like I'm in an awkward spot, because I don't think things will change. And I feel conflicted about what to do.
