yes, I personally erred. Full transparency, I'm white QW. I erred in my early attempts pushing for diversity.

I falsely assumed an organizer (not listed) was also white male. Did not assume possibility black male. I Caused harm.

this mistake happened in the context of pushing goals of
#marginsci & led to my permanent banning from#STL FB page. -
no excuse for my racist assumption of whiteness. Diversity has improved since my banning to my limited knowledge.
