I'm becoming cranky enough that I am starting to think folks who don't vaccinate their children & then spread disease should be sued for it.

@rocza Understand your frustration, but this is not a good idea because punitive laws like that will only hurt underprivileged families.

@OtherSociology I find that I'm ok w this when faced with the threat of my own, or my relatives, deaths.

@rocza White people who don't vaccinate would get off as they do for other crimes b/c criminal justice system favours them. This is not ok

@OtherSociology I don't think that "imperfect system so just allow folks to kill others" is ok.

@OtherSociology I'd rather tackle multiple issues than throw up hands & say "oh well, white people will just always get off so nevermind"

@OtherSociology Yes, there is inequality & injustice. I'd like to see that fixed. I'd also like to not die while working to get that fixed.

@OtherSociology I'd like family members who are lawyers and doctors working in these underprivileged communities to not die, too.
