Writing about films, photos, etc. does not qualify as #VisualSociology, nor sociologist writing about other sociologists' photos. #sociology

#VisualSociology is a useful way to communicate complex sociological theories/concepts to new audiences (#PublicSociology method) #sociology

#VisualSociology materials should stand on their own rather than rely on text. A novel application of #SociologicalImagination. #sociology
