@OtherSociology agreed. Mine is a v low women Uni. Just 12% women in my Faculty and will be 5% in my dept (1 aged 60) when I go in 2 wks
@VicMetcalf_NZ Sadly these gender dynamics make academia even more hostile to women; expected to conform to masculine norms to succeed

@OtherSociology hmm familiar. I got told by HOD that as I was parttime I should just focus on teaching & research could wait for a few yrs
