I'm responding to the panel. You're responding as if you're somehow exempt from critical engagement, however, your discussion throughout the panel is that you want your book to stimulate public conversations about race. A critical race response to the panel is more than warranted
I'm at work so I can't continue to have these exchanges, which are going in circles anyway. You seem unwilling to reflect on public responses to your event. That's not how public engagement works, especially here, where my comments are informed by critical race theory & practice
