That's disappointing! Did Netflix show you viewing data so you can better understand the decision? Do you feel they adequately promoted the show so it had as big a reach as possible? Why would they do this to an unique new show yet pay for licensing rights of stale old reruns?
Ava DuVernay has recently talked about being shown the data for When They See Us. She can't discuss the data publicly, but at least she saw the dataset & it was meaningful on reach and spread. It seemed from the brief snippet she could see time & audience segmentation.
