Reporter claimed in the episode that "African gangs" were "responsible for an alarming surge in violent crime". This is not factual. This was 6 months after another Channel 7 program breached code of conduct for a racist segment on Aboriginal children forcibly removed from family
No penalties for racist reporting means the media as an institution is disinterested in taking action against racist violence. This is a glaring example of how the media reproduces White supremacy and then insufficiently regulates itself
