Well, the point is to give you the illusion of choice while hoping that one day they'll manage to wear you out to the point that you just give up and swallow what they have chosen for your optimal monetization. And they know you're not gonna leave. They have your friends.
Dear @Twitter STOP changing our preferences from latest tweets to rubbish top tweets. What's the point of us having to constantly change back, other than further drive us away? That's some lowlife Facebook move.
