POC have to be just as careful as others not to erase communities being targeted for discrimination. It's not 'non-White' people who live with this fear. In this case, it's a specific set of mostly Latin migrants who are being arrested, intimidated & abused every day.
I understand what you're trying to say. But Black people have told non-Black people repeatedly not to make light of slavery or compare it to other situations. Especially important given AUS history of slavery. It's mostly Central American undocumented migrants being 'rounded up'
