A White woman saying 'I'm uneasy' and 'I'm scared' to a Black woman who's always in the public eye fighting racism is peak White privilege. Are you non-Black and don't want to stand with Black women? Feel a need to police Black activism? Start by tackling your own racism first.

Saying that is just setting herself up to be the victim. Also is the "angry BW" set up no matter how low BW whisper. So many historically related racist association with this

Very true, she did set herself up as a victim, as if she doesn't benefit from White supremacists & she can dictate how to respond to a rally by Nazis. The 'be nice and Nazis will go away' approach doesn't work and thinking it does is part of the White supremacist fantasy

Your comment is White supremacy to a tee. 'White women are being killed' is incorrect, as gender violence affects all women - I work in this field - and this does not nullify racist violence against Black women. White women are not more important than Black women.

Prefacing your comment, 'With respect' is a tact often used to derail voices of marginalised people. You're mirroring the exact same comments I'm critiquing of another White person who used this phrase to silence a Black woman. White people don't get to dictate to #POC on racism

As you wish, but perhaps even a POC can make a mistaken judgement on a tactical response to a complex situation. I pray there is no violence tomorrow

And expressing a difference of opinion is not "silencing" someone. This is exactly the argument used by the anti PC crowd.
