So @GooglePlus is shutting down. They drove away their active users by introducing senseless platform changes that made interactions insufferable and allowed abuse and spam to erode communities. It makes me very sad. There was so much original, high quality content on there, especially from researchers. And excellent conversations. Many of my multidisciplinary collaborations started on G+
