Hey fellow postdocs and also new faculty—where on your CV do you put non-peer-reviewed, but definitely-published pieces? Like essays, not like twitter.

Not in your demographic, but FWIW I have a peer reviewed section and then 'Other Selected Articles' - both have served me well in my career. Open access is what non academic employers will find easiest if they Google you.

Vary the publications you list, including only those relevant to a specific role description/industry/ audience. Employers only scan CVs so keep it brief & on message. Put the full list on your website if you have one and direct employers to it if that want more detail
