I'd like to reiterate that the bravery of survivors of sexual harassment is commendable, but professionally and personally costly. Putting the onus on survivors to report misconduct and pushing them to go public in order to progress their case is corrosive & counterproductive.

Orgs that draw out the process of waiting for a fair investigation & outcome (2 years in this case) are unethical and dangerous. Forcing survivors to go public is a failure to provide a safe working environment. Privileging the careers of abusers is hurting academia & science.
