Whose support does Prof Davis need to individually win? Non-Aboriginal people who aren't interested in hearing the Black women who led the #UluruStatement? This is how "moderate" White people perpetuate racism, thinking there's a "nice" way to talk about colonialism. There isn'thttps://twitter.com/jeremy_gans/status/1000573616335994880 …

I don't like what she says because it will not win support for the Uluru Statemenr.

And yet the other three in the ABC blog post all did that. I'm still not clear on why the post has only one indigenous participant.

Indigenous is spelled with a capital "I," jeremy. You held up article by another author who is not Indigenous as example of more palatable way of discussing the #UluruStatement But you're confused why they published the words of the most qualified person, who's also Aboriginal

You say you're confused why the most qualified person in the world (other than Pat Anderson AO) wrote about the #UluruStatement - isn't there some other imaginary Aboriginal person who could say this "nicer"? Guess what? You don't actually want to hear from Aboriginal people.

And I don’t think there is one person most qualified to speak for Aboriginal people. Not sure what benefit you will achieve - cos you won’t deliver change in white people.
