Because I’m not a fascist who thinks everyone I disagree with deserves to suffer. I can disagree with someone and also think it’s wrong they’re homeless or suffering. If only people who agree with your politics deserve housing then you’re going to exclude most homeless from help

So, how many decades of refusal to learn and continue to cause massive harm would you think to be appropriate? The point of "directly" is long, long over. You are harming his victims when expecting them to do anything other than set the most consequential boundaries they can.

Even now after experiencing serious consequences there is not the slightest sign of understanding, remorse or change. Why do you advocate to continue letting him get away with harming others due to his position?

Anyone being homeless is bad and a serious flaw in the system. But this is victim blaming and advocating to not set boundaries and consequences upon someone who harms you and others.

This was not a sudden, out of nowhere cancelling. He's had plenty of opportunities to learn and refused, claiming normal rules don't apply to him (See his refusal to abide by the FSF's own code of conduct for example)
