BTW this is half-joking. There are a lot of problems with taking "generational philosophy" as literal truth, consider: 1) homogenization via internet. 2) cultural influence via ethnicity. 3) cultural influence via economic class. 4) Rejection of influences due to personal values.
The only thing we can see for certain is a statistical rise in depression across all age groups and an increase in activism, again across all age groups, which includes average decrease in age of first political involvement. This does lead to generalizations, I apologize.
Honestly, I think there’s barely any difference between a millennial and a Gen Z mindset. Both generations have a range of disillusionment and optimism, and even though millennials get blamed a lot and Gen Z is seen as juvenile, unity should be the goal here.
