As of this morning, there are 733 Oregonians hospitalized with severe cases of COVID-19, including 185 in the ICU.
I cannot emphasize enough the seriousness of this situation, which is why I am deploying up to 1,500 members to support hospitals across the state.

I’m not sure what Oregon you live in but there’s not 6 million people here. It’s not just about the 1k hospitalized (although that is a tragedy that was certainly avoidable) it’s about the resources that are tapped out

Why is the national news not picking up on this story? What about the federal government? If the situation is so dire that it requires national guard assistance couldn’t the floating hospital come sailing up the Willamette to lend a hand?
