YouTube is experimenting to give us more control of our home feed apparently.
Not bad really. Anyone else get this on mobile?

I saw you almost click on crochet. You wanted to lol Havent seen this but I'm curious if this will subsidize and improve over the recent drop in suggested with more content-focused feeds. I like where they are going with this, kudos

Honestly it will probably drop more ppl’s views regarding suggested. And while this is an unpopular point of view. The current YouTube is a “market correction”. Viewers aren’t complaining, creators are and that’s valid, but the consumer drives everything. That’s the truth.

I realizade that not liking what YT is doin' for prioritizing advertisers than "mature content" creators — is the popular and default opinion. YT rewind is just one signal of that. Let's see if that thing increase views. If not, one more dig in our pet's "sematery".

Rewind is my argument against the idea of industry plants actually ... If they were capable of that kinda Trojan horse... Rewind shows that’s giving them too much credit. That said as a viewer the algorithm knows me pretty damned well...

I cant argue with that. As much as (like everybody else) I believe my content just needs to be put in front of the right eyes to explode I have very few issues with the content YT serves me as a viewer. Especially considering myberratic and completely_incongruous viewing habits.

That’s the thing I think the community struggles with. Of course as creators we think we deserve more views and to be the priority. But viewers have to always come first. If we are happy as viewers, then we have to really look at things from another angle objectively...

It is my understanding that the majority of channels with 100k+ subscribers got thatvway as a result of having a video hit. As long as I still have the capability for that to happen I have zero issues with what YT is doing. I trust them to run their business.

Exactly. U need a viral and then the algorithm pushes you to more people. If u don't have a hit each 2 years, ur channel will be hidden on YT until u make a new hit. But if YT distributes ur content more, u'll always have an audience. It was like that for me for 4 years.

Good to know... I had a hit a year and a half ago. Gonna have to focus on getting another ASAP. Thank you for the heads up!
