Remembering a one-on-one where my producer asked what skills I'd want to train more only to have him turn around and mark them as my weaknesses in my annual review. 
As someone who has reported to every discipline leader in a company, seeing a fellow UI Designer reporting to a producer for an annual review really makes it not as uncommon as one might think. *sigh* We'll get there...
