My experience doesn't hold a candle to this, but I feel like I can relate to something similar that happened to me at a similar company. Someone got hired to "help" me when our team got larger and I went from getting great reviews...
to not fit for working there and fired within 6 months. It sucks. It's made me not feel like I'm worth anything since it happened, and I still struggle daily with it. I'm glad my current company has faith in me, but I still know I'm not operating at my best. :(
