Do you guys miss tournaments having trailers and hype videos? I feel like there’s less advertisments and hype videos for events these days than there used to be.
I kinda miss the special feeling tournaments had early on in wings. Streaming was rare so pretty much only the major offline/online tournaments got broadcasted and it felt kinda "special" nowadays there is so much going on that it just feels like an everyday thing.

I agree though I think a lot of it is that tournaments are very samey now. Even when streaming was more rare, 2012-2013 had roughly 4 premier events a month, playhems, etc. But I think each event had a more unique identity.

I also felt like it was nostalgia/ the first esports events ever. Was so fun watching those mlg streams all weekend
