Out of curiousity, when would be the time to start enforcing a rule then? Get rid of it? Because if it doesn't get enforced you might aswell right? Why wouldn't they start enforcing their own rules that they put in place?

I don't think it's an unreasonable stretch that the 3+ month period in which there was no Circuit activity could be a break in the "WCS Period."
I think blizzard is implying that they do not see GSL as a non competetive reason within regard to the WCS system. Leipzig started in January so argument could be made that the entire WCS period is january > blizzcon. I am guessing is that they imply that.

What they're saying is that they meant to say "WCS Circuit competitive reason" and what we are saying is that they can't enforce that since that isn't what that rule means, as written.

I could be wrong but as far as i know "wcs" korea is just labeled that for the sake of branding with regard to the global playoffsbut its still referred to as the GSL. If it was the same they would be using the same map pool, the same veto system and the same seeding no?
