I dont think PUBG will be a good esport honestly, its fun to play for fun but as an esport there are so many things i'd hate about it.

Many things would suck, but I think it would work. It would be like the golf of esports. Several days of play, rank based on performance.

It could work, but simple things like motorcycles randomly flipping over on the smallest hill, randomness with looting and 3pp advantage idk

Dude the motorcycle flips ruin my fucking life. I like loot randomization. Maybe make it more likely to find something decent everywhere.

Looting RNG changes the way you play the games though. If you give good loot everywhere, everyone will just hide and wait until the end.

Or no optics after clearing a whole city....god damn that hurts

and then the game after that you find 2 kar's with no scopes and lose, game after that 2 x4 scopes 1x8 and only a pump shotgun with m16.....

also i do like the island circles very fun to finally have good loot then to get fucked by bridge campers that gambled on mill base chute :(
