What's the deal with making a cyclone vs a hellion in TvT these days after your reaper? How do you decide which to make?

Any particular reason? Does going hellion speed up your build since cyclones are a lot of gas?
I do a build that has had popularity on the old patch where you pull 2 scvs out of each gas so that you can get your expo 1/2

Alot faster then with normal double gass, tho you can't get a cyclone instead you need to go 2 hellions. 2/2
