Why are books required for your study so expensive seriously. Im using these 3 books for 1 semester and after that nobody will look at them anymore except the poor guy buying them 2nd hand next year after i already purchased it 2nd hand.

Arent you doing something it related? I studied Software development and didnt bux a single book ^^ Found everything I needed online or in very few cases the library

Last year i primarily used PDF and readers but for some stuff its always nice to have a physical book especially for during travel makes it easier to read etc.

Your text books cost so much because all of your teachers are included in the credits so they can get a percentage, and if the (required) books are updated every few years, students get to buy them full price. Yes, its a scam.
