Not sure about the release - but there's gonna be a demo available on the Blizzcon floor (and virtual ticket holders get access too)

Im not gonna bother buying a virtual ticket for a demo that is most likely gonna be streamed anyway. However it looks like based on the leaked screenshots that a fair amount of work has been put in. Expecting a mid 2019 release tbh.

A lot of zones havent changed much or at all since Classic so you could be right. WoWhead even kept the old quest database.
