Im seeing a lot of people spreading miss information about how signing up for WCS works and im triggered af so here we go. Dreamhack recently changed the sign up requirement to also have a ticket before you sign up to the event. However in most cases you are waiting 1/2
On your team with additional information about being able to go. If you had to waste 50-100$ per event on tickets that you might not even attempt the already low earnings would be even lower, it is retarded to see ppl say "JuSt SiGn Up EaRlIeR" doesn't work like that. 2/2
I'm 100% sure if you'd explain that situation to Dreamhack, they'd gladly help you refund your ticket. Just have to be a bit more pro active.
It's sad to read this. I'd think and hope Teams would give proper information early so players could just sign up in time.. Now it's an even bigger waste of money when they send their player across the globe for thousands of $$ without even knowing if he was gonna play..
The teams i've been part off have always been very on time with giving out information but it happens. Sometimes especially new oppurtunities are there and you might be able to last minute attend an event. You could always sign up and just cancel but now its not the case.

You've known the date of the event for like 9 months. Tickets for the event were on sale like 3-4 months before the sign Ups opened. What additional information were you unable to get in that time? It's just excuses for laziness and putting it off.
Probably a requirement DH put onto blizzard then. Sounds like they should just change this asap
