From my gathering of information (not everything might be 100% correct) then we have at least 7 pros on the waiting list for WCS Montreal - Zanster, me, Reynor, Clem, Bly, Harstem and Mcanning. This is going to be interesting. I hope it's an e-mail automation mistake.

The communication levels could definitely do with some work. Sign up confirmation. How many players have signed up. Number on the "waiting list". But I still think it's on players to signup as soon as the OB is open, anything longer than a day after is too late IMO.
I can gurantee you now that most ppl that are on the waiting list signed up within days of the sign ups opening. Perhaps they should sign up as soon as they can but thats not always possible. Besides the fact that people their income depends on events, they should get priority xD

I think the bigger issue is having "waiting lists" at all. At no point should anyone wanting to play in the tourney be excluded. Even if they make it a BO1/BO3 single elim outside of RO64 or something... More players is always better than telling them they can't play at all.
