Hi, sending a message to all computer buildings expert, I'm looking to buy and build a new one but I'm a proper noob so idk what to buy. I'm not looking for a ultra mega high end PC but still smth pretty damn good, Idk the price of things so my budget is whatever it costs :'D
410W on load yes. Powersupplies work most efficient at about 70% total capacity being used on load. In this case its best to go for atleast 650 W to leave room for longevitity. If you drain a 500 watt PSU like this its gonna blow in 1 year lol

a PSU would only blow within ~4 years if the system started trying to take more than what the PSU was capable of providing, i've never heard of a PSU that was capable of providing more than the systems maximum required power blowing vastly before it's average life expectancy

the caveat is that yes, some lower rated power supplies (80, 80+ bronze) aren't always capable of providing the power that they list, but a gold 500W PSU would absolutely be capable of providing 500W or at least extremely close to it, which should be fine.
