Ok, is it me or is it really weird that @OpenSourceOrg doesn't have anybody on its board with strong ties to any of the 5 major open source foundations: @TheASF @EclipseFdn @linuxfoundation @mozila and @fsf ? https://opensource.org/docs/board-annotated …

Not sure why those are top 5, but
@mmillions is a@FSF employee (probably'd prefer not to be called "open source" foundation),@EclipseFdn ED@mmilinkov's term ended this year.@Apache's@jimjag is a board alum. Current reps from@debian@Wikimedia,@tdforg (x2)@perlfoundation1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes -
Replying to @OpenSourceOrg @TheASF and
Good point on
@mmillions. So at least@fsf is represented. Still my point stands for the other 4 most influential open source foundations. Your argument that you have a few alums doesn't really address my issues (unless you keep alums as advisors)3 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
You might also look at previous nominees for the Board: https://wiki.opensource.org/bin/Main/OSI+Board+of+Directors/Board+Member+Elections/2018_election …). Many may more closely align to your expectations.
