    First round of next generation headstage mass production is complete! 160 components smashed onto a 19mm diameter, 8-layer PCB requires some serious QC. MicroCT scans of each board ensure our assembly pipeline is on point. Look close and see if you can find the inductor 😀

    Just finished up the next revision of the very touchable, rack-mountable, optical-table friendly, miniscope/neuropixel/tetrode/...-compatible next-generation breakout board and thought it turned out pretty 😍

    Why consulting in neuroscience makes sense: If real life was like academia, you'd not bring your car to mechanics but miss weeks of work because it's cheaper to fix by yourself. Learning valve timing charts would be seen as part of your training. New post:

    If you’re doing exps. with freely behaving mice you deal with twisted tethers. We just solved this problem: our headstages tells the commutator which way the mice turn (gyro+compass), and it turns via a motor. Come see it at booth 1766 at .

    Finished our booth 1766 demo! This next gen system can acquire from our new torque-free, actively commutated headstages (left), (right), and soon, scopes! acquires the data from across probes... OK, time to pack😱
