I’m sure the electron pits have been dug dry in this topic long ago, but I wonder how hard it would be to make an auto correct that actually worked.

Extremely. I don't pretend to be an educated linguist just because I work as one, but I think we understand language so poorly we can't even model it correctly. So it's pretty difficult to teach a machine to do that. That said, I think you'll see us get pretty close very soon.

My phone autocorrects apple to Apple. It bugs me so I always switch it, even when the capitalization is correct.
