Life is composed of anti-entropic systems. Suffering is life’s response to entropy—it’s opposite. Insight means to stop feeling like entropy is a mistake, an insult, not fair. Things falling apart is the nature of the universe.
Life exports entropy away from itself into its surroundings to keep its own internal entropy low. Yes, of course, if you include the surroundings (like rock) then the entropy increases, but not within each organism. Negentropy is what life does, fundamentally.

"Negentropy is what life does, fundamentally." If this was true, we would not age.

This is an really interesting point: life actively embraces the entropy of aging as the cost for the very great benefit of sexual reproduction (w/ its selection & fitness upgrades). Asexual reproducers-effectively immortal-got left in the evolutionary dust.

This is an anthropocentric view of evolution. All living organisms are equally evolved. Bacteria were and are the most successful life form on the planet and can in no way be said to have been left in the dust.
