It's congruent with the Leary/Wilson way of talking about "reality tunnels" also. The trouble is you don't even know you're looking through conceptual lenses at everything, because they're "transparent."

I think it's a great usage. There may be an unhelpful language artifact in a lot of Indic philosophy where the emphasis on "clarity" (as in a reflecting pool is clear when still) has obscured the way we ought to be talking about this in our current context.

language itself being one of the "pixels" of constructed reality, so using it skillfully is itself a dharma practice. it needs constant updating.
