There's only one: I am conscious.

Agree you are conscious, but how do you know? In other words, what specific phenomena alert you in this moment to your consciousness?

Photosynthesis is a phenomenon. Does it alert you to your own consciousness in this moment? "Any and all" doesn't capture the essence of the question as it can apply to phenomena at any level of abstraction.

What if we add the following condition: any and all but only insofar as the phenomena is available to us. For example, pigeons have more colours available to them than humans, and bats have sonar but humans do not.

It has to be sensory input that is low on a ladder of abstraction. Just raw sense data, felt in real time without having to interpret it. Even calling it "absolute" is too much. It's just happening right now and nobody gets to have an opinion about it. Not even me.

"Interpretation" of raw sense data is a mental impression in the same way that raw sense data is a mental impression. Buddhists consider thinking as the sixth sense. This is not to say that the conceptual content of thoughts are absolutely true. The content is the abstraction.

You're right, but be careful with this. Mindfulness of body sensations will outperform any other sense door 100/1. Body doesn't time travel and can't be abstracted. Body is most bang for the buck and the high road to awakeness.

Just in the spirit of diversity, I’ll add that I find mediation on thinking to be much more powerful/effective than body sensation. So I think there may be some individual variation on this.

Yikes. Works for you, true, but I think you just doomed an entire generation of yogis to infinite perseveration.
