Possibly. But at the current time, good relations with Russia are one of the only good things about his administration. It might be worth, at some point, examing /why/ Russia interfered in America's election. It isn't because Russia is "evil, evil, evil".

I definitely happy to not be at war with Russia over Ukraine, or something. On the other hand, election interference and subsequent mayhem cannot be tolerated.

Now, apply that to America's interference in many elections including Russia's. Why can't it be tolerated? Every other country has to tolerate America's interference in our elections (yes, Canada has suffered your intereference too.) Why are you special?

It’s not about being special. It’s about one of the functions of government being to defend the nation against aggression. That is its proper role and that is what the US govt should be doing.

Ok. You interfered in their elections, multiple times. Now they have interfered in yours once. Perhaps you should get together and say "let's both of us not do that." If you want something to stop, stop doing it.

this is a serial killer saying "it's not right when it is done to me". Virtually everyone outside the US thinks this is laughable.

Fair enough. I knew it came down to that for you. I’ll take that into account when you say or write anything about US politics in the future.

You should. You should also remember that I spent over 10 years of my life trying to help Americans. Which is more than most Americans did. Notice I said the solution is for both sides to stop doing it. That was ignored, though.

I didn’t ignore it. I’m always interested to hear what you have to say. Understanding clearly where it’s coming from is also useful.

All humans have my concern, Michael. They really do and to a large degree my cocnern is equal (not entirely, but far closer than most.) People don't understand that. And lately, I'm not sure that I was right to prioritize humans so much over other animals.

Sounds a lot more like no humans have your concern. That the world would be better off without us, as far as you’re concerned. That sort of nihilism will not only result in the end of humanity but the end of all animals as well.
