As America’s world leadership collapses in flames, I wonder how our non-metric system of measures is going to hold up.

Eh, all science is done in Metric. You'll abandon Imperial when America actually breaks up into parts, probably.

Canada changed in the 70s, when I was a kid. I still think of weight and height in imperial, but temperature in celcius. But when I did sci/eng I did everything in metric. So much easier.

In US schools in the 70s we were trained in the metric system and told that they country would change to it soon. Still waiting...
