It would be great to hear him talk more about insight experiences and their relationship to his 10 stage model

Culadasa, can you talk about the influence of scientists such as Marvin Minsky on your understanding of the mind models and the practice?

Culadasa, do you have any advice for an older person who is likely to die before awakening? What, then, should the goal of meditation be?

Culadasa, please talk more about your understanding of the non-dual nature of mind and brain, and the "stuff" that manifests as both.

Can meditation boost cognitive abilities such as problem solving and creative thinking? How would one train their mind to produce more ideas

FWIW - "...we show that Theravada and Vajrayana meditations are based on different neurophysiological mechanisms, which give rise to either a relaxation or arousal response..."http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0102990 …

Thanks! Any good resources on Vajrayna meditation for the Western Reader?

Well,
@kenmcleod is writing a book....Vajrayana techniques are really wrapped up in tradition and student-teacher relationship. I linked the study because you asked about cognitive abilities, and that is the only study I know which explored that function in a comparative way. -
I think Michael has a background in Hindu Tantra (similar aspects to Vajrayana), maybe he could point you in the right direction. I guess if I pushed myself I'd probably suggest Dr. Reggie Ray's 'Secret of The Vajra World'. But I don't practice much tantra, mostly Mahamudra.

Does awakening/stream-entry always occur with a fruition type event where experience cuts out and re-emerges from non-experience, or can stream-entry 'creep up' a la Shinzen? How does his training in Mahamudra teachings inform his views/experiences of awakening & meditation?

What relation do Vipassana ñanas have to the TMI 10 Stages? Do they still occur in Shamatha Vipassana, and is there value experiencing them?
-
@Culadasa talked about this at length recently, here -https://youtu.be/GT59emts4RQ?t=14m12s …
