The article is not concerned with the problem of consciousness, but instead with explaining how an experience can be nondual.

In short: when perception occurs without the involvement of the brain regions involved in creating the sense of self, then it feels nondual

This is of course different than saying that it’s actually nondual in some kind of absolute sense.

And, as I said, it entire skips over the problem of consciousness. Which, btw, the traditional explanation doesn’t solve at all either.
