Though fuel was more expensive when I got before Christmas, the checkpoints from Onitsha - Enugu have been few and manned professionally. It would depend on the time he passed and bought those things. I very much doubt Joe Abah will lie about his experience.

Absolutely. On a good day, we have a myriad of checkpoints both on intra-city and a intercity roads. They are fewer now. I don’t know why. Two things can be true at the same time.

Did you pass the old road? On the 29th - two checkpoints on Limca Road in Onitsha. Checkpoint at Abagana. Checkpoints at Amansea. Checkpoints at Oji River. Checkpoint at 9th Mile. Allof them caused traffic.

That he didn't pass a road does not mean he lied. He stated what he saw. Your position should have been where did you pass cos they were at so and so and so. You mentioned 6 he said 4 or so. Not far off. It's what he saw he saw.
