Opened a WFargo account in 1hr with no fund. No reference. Just my passport. Got temp debit card same day. Named card arrived 4 days later.
Opening a bank account in Nigeria is so archaic & stressful (so much paper + the 2 references nonsense) no wonder so many remain unbanked.

Deposit 5k, bank takes 1,050 in the name of Debit card leaving you with less than you had. Better to save the 5k under your bed.
