why spend that much? You can get a good occasional use deskjet sub 50K. If you want hi-end, I have a Konica Minolta for sale
My guys says anything not laserjet isn't good. What's the different between laserjet and Desk jet?

for most LJs esp the color ones, cost of changing all 4 toner packs will buy you another of same laserjet printer with toner

Laserjet uses toner, prints are indelible. Deskjet uses ink, prints can smear in water.
