True, but why is France being targeted more than other European countries that participated in those wars?
Shocked mainland Europe (connected to Middle East by land) did not stop activities destroying ME initiated by Island countries

It was the U.S and their lap dog Britain that went to initially. Took some cajoling before France and Germany joined in.
