Reasons I believe folk stick with PHP: 1. It was the first "language" they learnt 2. They're insecure in their ability to learn another one

@farinjini You're 'rant' will be probably base on "what should be" as opposed to "what is". Which is why PHP and now Javascript rules.

@OoTheNigerian but you're referring to web only. PHP doesn't work outside of web and there's a lot more to coding than web alone. -
